LIFE DRAWING WITH CENTRAL COAST ART SOCIETY
These very popular life drawing sessions are held on a regular basis on a Friday with professional models.
These are self-help sessions over a 2.5-hour period. Male or female models assume a variety of timed poses ranging from 1 minute to 30 minutes. On the second Tuesday of the month, a “long pose” session is usually also held, where the model is asked to resume a single pose (with appropriate breaks) over a 6-hour session. This allows participants to paint or draw detailed studies. The date of these sessions may change – check our Facebook page (see below). All skill levels are welcome, including beginners. While no formal teaching is offered, the more experienced members of the group are often happy to offer tips and advice. All sessions are held in the Kincumber School of Arts Community Hall, corner of Tora Ave & Empire Bay Drive, Kincumber. Parking is in Tora Avenue. Bring your own paper, backing board and drawing materials. Easels are provided. If you plan to paint, please bring a drop-sheet to protect the floor. Sessions Weekly: Every Friday from early February to early December (except Good Friday): 10:00am–12:30pm $15 per session Monthly long pose: Second Tuesday of each month: 9:00am–3:00pm $30 for full day or $15 for half day Check the Life Drawing’s Facebook page for up-to-date information. |
