1st and 3rd Wednesday (February to November)
Arrive at 9.45 am to start at 10.00 am. Finish at 1.00 pm
Studio 2, Gosford Regional Gallery and Arts Centre.
Cost $30.00 per week. $40 per week non-members.
Bookings are essential.
Gosford Regional Gallery and Arts Centre provide plenty of convenient parking and disability access.

Pastels Workshop
Ann-Maree Morgan
After 25 years of working in the design studios of
advertising, Ann-Maree finally decided to leave the
corporate world to focus on her passion for art.
Australian wildlife and other animals combined with
international travel have always been a huge influence.
Creating her own perceptions using favourite mediums
of pastels and watercolour, Ann-maree’s artwork has
been on display in many exhibitions, receiving high
praise. Ann-Maree has returned home from teaching art
to passengers from around the world on two cruises and
is now back on the Central Coast happily teaching
workshops and classes.

Workshops:
Workshop 1: The stages of creating a beautiful pastel landscape of Antarctica.

Workshop 2: A portrait of a dog (provided image) or
you can bring along an image of your own pet and create your own work with guidance.

Materials List
1. Pastel Paper or hot press watercolour paper 300gsm (A4 min.).
2. Pan pastels, soft pastels and pastel pencils (we have a variety of pastels for you to use at the studio).
3. Soft brushes or soft art sponges and black and white charcoal pencils for details.

Workshop 1 - Fiery Flamingo - In this workshop we explore a close up of feathers in an impressionistic way. We apply easy background effects as well as feathering techniques made easy, working from a clear close up photograph.

Workshop 2 - Sacred Kingfisher - Donna has always had a love of Australian birds. You will explore some background effects as well as feathering techniques made easy.
