These are the locations for us to Meet, Sketch and Paint on Tuesday mornings. It's hard to have the perfect location with perfect weather that suits everyone. We have had some very successful locations, ones that we have all enjoyed. Your suggestions for new locations or favourites you would like to revisit, are always welcome. If you haven't been before, bring your choice of painting or sketching gear and come along. 9:30-10am is a good time to start then we like to gather at 11.45am for "Throw Down" and show and photograph our mornings work. February 3rd - TOOWOON BAY SURF CLUB. There are two levels at this location. The top level has access to picnic shelters and park areas. The bottom level is the beach front and Cafe. Both levels have carparks and toilet facilities. We will meet at the cafe for Throw Down and lunch. February 10th - ETTALONG BEACH FRONT. This is always a popular location, one we enjoy. We will meet on the waterfront at the end of Bangalow Street, Ettalong. Nice shady trees and picnic shelters. Cafe and toilets are just along the walkway. Following Throw Down, those who want, can join me at Ettalong Diggers for Lunch. February 17th - ALONG WOY WOY CHANNEL. We will meet at the first picnic shelter past Fisherman's Wharf and the Commemorative Garden in Brickwharf Road, Woy Woy. Following Throw Down, Lunch will be across the road at the Woy Woy Hotel. February 24th - DAVISTOWN. The WATERFRONT at the end of PINE AVENUE. Another old favourite that has good painting and sketching ideas from along the waterfront. Those who want to join me, Lunch will follow Throw Down at the RSL Club, Murna Road, Davistown. March 3rd - LONG JETTY. Along the Tuggerah Lake waterfront at the end of Archbold Road, Long Jetty. For those who want to join me, lunch will be at Diggers at the Entrance, on the Entrance Road. March 10th - BENSVILLE. The jetty and waterfront at the end of Kallaroo Road, Bensville. No toilets onsite. Toilets and cafe are up at the Shopping Centre. March 17th - AVOCA. Heazlett Park, Avoca. The paper bark trees along Avoca Lake waterfront make this an interesting location. There are two entrances to this locations. One is Carpark opposite the Service Station as you drive into Avoca. The other is on the other side of the oval, at the end of Ficus Avenue. For those who would like to join me, lunch will be at the Avoca Bowling Club. March 24th - KILLCARE. The Killcare Surf Club. It is a short walk from the carpark down to the Surf Club. Unfortunately, Cafe and Club toilets are closed on Tuesdays. Toilets in the top carpark are open. Toilets available but no cafe. Bring your thermos and eats. March 31st - WOY WOY. Lions Park, at the end of North Burge Road, Woy Woy. There are several spots to sketch/paint from at this location. You will have to look to see where others have decided to set up.
