These are the locations for us to Meet, Sketch and Paint on Tuesday mornings. It's hard to have the perfect location with perfect weather that suits everyone. We have had some very successful locations, ones that we have all enjoyed. Your suggestions for new locations or favourites you would like to revisit, are always welcome. If you haven't been before, bring your choice of painting or sketching gear and come along. 9:30-10am is a good time to start then we like to gather at 11.45am for "Throw Down" and show and photograph our mornings work. February 4th - AVOCA The picnic shelters near the toilet facilities, opposite the Childrens playground, at the beach end of Avoca Drive, Avoca. This is above the Swimming pool. February 11th - THE ENTRANCE The waterfront along the Entrance Road, The Entrance. This is always a popular location, one of my favourites. Great views out over Tuggerah Lake. The Boats sheds and Boat hire are good subjects. February 18th - SARATOGA The waterfront at the Boat Shed and Jetty, Centennial Avenue, Saratoga. Great views out across Brisbane Water. February 25th - NORTH AVOCA The waterfront at the end of Tramway Road, North Avoca. We always enjoy this location. Magnificent paper bark trees and reflections in Avoca Lake. Nearest toilets are back on the beach front at the North Avoca Surf Club. March 4th - KILLCARE SURF CLUB. Beach Drive, Killcare. There is a short walk from the carpark down to the Surf Club. March 11th - HENRY KENDALL VILLAGE. Maidens Brush Road, Wyoming. Details to be advised. March 18th - ETTALONG The waterfront at the end of Bangalow Street, Ettalong. It is a short walk down the The Box Cafe & Restaurant. March 25th - AVOCA Along the lake in Heazlett Park, Avoca. Nice shady Paper bark trees and picnic area along the lake. Car parking opposite the service station as you come into Avoca or in Ficus Avenue. April 1st - THE TOOWOON BAY SURF CLUB & CAFE. April 8th - CHRISTINE BURGE'S GARDEN & STUDIO. 33 Gwendolen Avenue, Umina Beach. Christine has kindly invited us to meet, sketch and paint in her garden & studio. There will be hands on gelli print & foam stamping demonstrations in her studio. Lots of interesting artistic things in her garden to keep you entertained. Tea & coffee available. Please bring a plate of finger food to share for lunch, your coffee mug, chair and hat. April 15th - SENSORY GARDENS, North Entrance Foreshore, Wilfred Barrett Drive, North Entrance.
